April 22- 27, 2019
The First UM6P Spring School and CAISAM Conference will be held from 22 to 27 April 2019 at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P). Its main objective is to provide an interdisciplinary scientific forum for the dissemination of research accomplishments and to synergistically connect the research community and industry practitioners. It will focus on new research directions and emerging applications within the three main research communities: Data Science & Machine Learning, Industrial Engineering and Numerical Modeling and Scientific Computing of complex flows. It aims also at promoting the interaction and collaboration within those three communities and the creation of scientific networks, projects and student exchanges.
The first UM6P Spring School will be held in conjunction with the international conference CAISAMI and it will take place from 22 to 24 April 2019, according to the following program: April 22, 2019: Industrial Engineering April 23, 2019: Modeling and Scientific Computing of complex flows April 24, 2019: Data Science & Machine Learning The content of this training is intended for students as well as academic and industrial practitioners. It’s based on the presentations of theoretical backgrounds, innovative methods and hands-on sessions. Thus, the participants can gain an insight into current research areas and acquire basic practical skills. Furthermore, there will be plenty of opportunities to exchange ideas and to discuss the relevant topics with other participants and speakers. Participants will be selected based on their provided information about their motivation, prior knowledge, and interests.
The first edition of CAISAM conference will take place from 25 to 27 April 2019. This international scientific event aims to enable researchers and practitioners to strengthen their scientific exchanges, to have the opportunity to network and to develop collaborations and partnerships. During this conference, a special session will be dedicated to young researchers (PhDs, Post Docs, and Engineers) offering them an opportunity to present their last research results. We particularly encourage submissions in emerging topics and the selection will be made by an international jury. Also, during CAISAM conference, many leading academic scientists and researchers will present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns, as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions, adopted related to the conference’s topics.

Submission Guidelines and Publication
For oranization purpose, the authors are first asked to send an abstract of their proposition Authors are invited to submit high-quality papers (original research, critical review, case study, etc.) according to the three following categories:
Each submitted paper must be original, unpublished and not submitted elsewhere. Contributions should be written in English and be prepared using required format. The Conference operates a double-blind peer-review system and judged on the basis of originality, contribution to the field, technical and presentation quality, and relevance to the conference. At least one author of each accepted paper must attend the conference to present the work. All articles published are made freely and permanently accessible online immediately upon publication, without subscription charges or registration barriers.
- All submissions must be written in English, and follow the downloadable Word Template or Latex template.
- Please use the following template for your Posters in Latex : CAISAM1_Latex_Poster_template.zip or CAISAM1_Latex_Poster_template.tgz .
